{ kate + brian | married at abacoa palm bach gardens, fl }

The reception was held at Abacoa Golf Club in Jupiter. {Although golf clubs are notoriously flat, green and boring, this venue was not.}

The moment I arrived and spotted this amazing Tim Burton-esque tree at the entrance, I saw this shot in my mind.

Kate and Brian were great sports and indulged my artsy side to create this unique Ansel Adams inspired image.

Another hot picture spot, was this steel bridge…

kate brian red doors

And of course the cool red and green resident doors…

Then just in time for sunset…

We found our way to the top of the hill, right behind the clubhouse, to grab this silhouette series.

The entire wedding party played with us for a while…

then headed into the clubhouse.

A string trio serenaded guests during the cocktail hour, amidst a color scheme of orange, rustic peach and deep yellow.

From the bouquets…

Even this draped pergola that hung over the cake table, incorporated her pallette.

And check out this “happily every after” keepsake pillow, where guests gave the couple advise to sleep on. What a fun idea.

Flashing back to earlier in the day, Kate got ready at her mom’s home in Palm Beach Gardens.

Here is her couture gown hanging in the window with her Cinderella like faux-glass jelly slippers by Stuart Weitzman in the foreground.

Her adorable puppy {awww}, looked on as her bridesmaids started to get her dressed…

Almost ready to go…

kate brian mom

Kate’s mom added the cathedral length veil…

Which really took off in the wind, to create this epic moment.

Meanwhile, over at Brian’s parents home in Lake worth…

the groom buttoned up for his walk down the aisle.

A kiss from mom for luck and he was on his way.

kate brian laughing girls

Back in The Gardens, Kate and her attendants were laughing it up.

They readied for a stroll in the gardens.

With Kate leading the way…

the girls grabbed their flowers. {I just love these colors, they are so trendy right now.}

Kate and I shot a few more portraits. With that super long veil, and her ballet training it made for a great movement moment.

The limo arrived to pick up Kate, Dad and the girls.

They arrived at church about 15 minutes before the ceremony, and the flower girl welcomed them in the doorway…

Soon she was off to petal the aisle… just as practiced.

She was picture perfect.

The littlest of the two ring bearers was already waiting at the alter for her.

How cute is he? Would you look at those eyes!

They had a full mass, paced just right.

Then a joyous kiss, captured as they left the church.

Gee… do you think they are happy to be married

Here is a closer shot of the bride’s bouquet, as it dropped to the ground.

The little one’s sat on the bench and looked on…

much like Rageddy Ann and Andy here.

This was captured earlier at Kate’s mom’s house. I saw these vintage dolls {just like the ones I had when I was a little girl} sitting in a rocking chair. Overcome with nostalgia, while I was styling ring shots, I just knew they needed to be included in what was to be a perfect day.

Special thanks to Ryan Droze for sharing his talents and second shooting with me, due to a last minute staff member illness.
