{ amy + josh | engaged: an afternoon in d.u.m.b.o, nyc }

A few Saturdays ago while in New York, I traveled to meet Amy and Josh in D.U.M.B.O, NYC, Down Under the Brooklyn Overpass, hence the acronym for this uber trendy area.

I loved all the artsy graffiti walls we found as we made our way to the park.

My favorite was this back alley. Between the perfect light, grafitti brick wall, and a strategically placed pile of garbage the frame was perfect.

A quick stop at the Galapagos Art Space proved the perfect setting…

For a balloon inspired kiss.

There was lots of construction going on, and we were able to take advantage of some great props.

We headed into the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

This panoramic on the rocks, with the brooklyn bridge and city skyline as backdrop is a classic.

A kiss…

A cuddle…

A little dip…

And a moment to reflect…

On a perfect day in DUMBO.

We had such fun. Amy and Josh were so easy going and really great to work with. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding next spring at Steiner Studio Stage 6!

Couldn’t resist this bridge shot while driving back to the city.
