{ tatiana + ken | engaged in tudor city }

As a photographer, one seldom wishes for rain… however when precipitation comes, it can be fun to make the best of it.

Tatiana & Ken were great sports and fortunately came prepared with umbrellas.

Their engagment shoot took place on a rainy Monday in New York City.

Tudor City Historic District has the most stunning architecture. Designed by architect H. Douglas Ives in the 1920’s, it was based heavily on the Tudor Style, hence it’s namesake.

The quaint Tudor City park is a mini oasis.

I love this little garden shack, it’s a touch of country in the city.

Based on a plateau overlooking the landmark Chrysler Building, Tudor city seems isolated from the rest of Midtown, creating a quiet refuge from hectic Manhattan.

Looking forward to shooting their destination wedding this weekend in Scranton, PA.
