{TATIANA & KEN… MARRIED in Scranton}
In mid-December I journeyed to historical Scranton, PA to capture Tatiana & Ken’s fabulous holiday wedding.

The couture details were almost as fun to shoot as all the towns’ unbelievable old-world 1800’s stone architecture.

I just loved this pair of Stuart Weitzman Satin & Lace pumps…

Tatiana’s Priscilla of Boston gown was stunning with a cinched waist complete with antiqued brooches pockets, which came in handy in the cold weather. Her jewelry was the perfect match.

The invitation was wrapped in handmade paper and sealed with a custom logo design which ran throughout the details of the day.

Even the callah lilly bouquet matched. It was wrapped in satin with buttons similar to the back of her gown.

The Colonnade, a unique luxury inn in the heart of the town, was where Tatiana and her maid of honor got ready. The bold designer colors were the ideal backdrop.

A touching moment with her mother was captured as the afternoon sunlight streamed in.

Tatiana made her first grand entrance…

Then headed down the festive staircase, surrounded by fab scarlett walls!

A quick check in the mirror, beneath the miseltoe.

A trip to the orange room to posed beside the tree …

Look at these original tree decorations…

Then to the blue room…

As Tatiana finished up her portrait session in the blue room, Alison, headed over to capture the groom as he got ready at his mom and dad’s nearby residence.

Meanwhile, back at the Colonnade, the bride was heading out with the girls.

This bouquet ball was created for the flower girls.

As they emerged in their little matching pink fur coats for their photo shoot moment with the bride. Too cute!

Washington Avenue was an architectural dream. Each historical building was more unbelievable than the next.

It was totally freezing but worth it.

But luckily … look POCKETS!

The Church of the Good Shepherd was a cathedral like and the candlelit ceremony was pure romance.

Post ceremony everyone headed for the reception at The Country Club of Scranton, which was filled with uplit bulbs… even the placecards were set in grass and tulips, for a perfect juxtaposed mix of winter and spring.

The Platinum Chiavari chairs were draped with Ivory Pashmina Scarves for the ladies, with a note letting them know it was their gift. A great idea as it served as chair decor and favor in one. The men got sweets!

They began their first dance as the guests looked on.

A few poignant (and funny) toasts…

Then the guests got the party started and danced the night away.

When it came time for dessert, a spread of custom ground columbian coffees and cooked-to- order pear flambe tarts awaited.

Then came the cake…

and a champagne toast…

The evening ended as the newlyweds adjourned for the night.
