This shot of Lauren + John speaks volumes. As they walked along the beach on their wedding day, they stopped to look out at the ocean, and in the foreground, an older couple, mirrored them. Prophetically, one hopes… as we later found out the grey haired duo were in town celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary!

The day started early, as the bride prepped in the Hilton Singer Island Beach Resort‘s spacious bridal suite.

Love these cute undies from Victoria’s Secret.

Lauren’s gown by designer Alfred Angelo, was perfect for a beach wedding.

She opted for a pair of HOT PINK shoes… to play on her accent colors.

All her girls were well coordinated in matching pink robes.

Lauren’s “bride” robe was a nice touch too.

Early afternoon her bridesmaid’s started to get her ready.

Mom laced her gown, and put on her veil.

Then posed for some bridal portraits.

Soon Lauren and the girls headed out to the beach.

Here she is on her way with her adorable flower girl.

As the girls played in the ocean…

Lauren went for a quick barefoot run along the beach.

This is one of my favorites.

Here she called to her bridesmaids, for a moment of girl bonding.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, the boys were having their own fun! Ummm… Maybe a bit too much?

A quick note from the bride in the sand…

A kiss from dad for luck…

And off the the ceremony.

The wedding was set to take place right on the beach, with a petal strewn aisle and bamboo arch decorated in stargazer lilies.

The flower girl readied. I like her handmade basket, complete with sand dollar.

When it was time, mom escorted her daughter down the aisle.

A lovely ceremony followed.

They exited…

To a field of blowing bubbles.

John jumped for JOY… at the thought of being a newly wed.

They kissed beneath a gorgeous sky.

Then played on the beach for some pictures.

The reception space was tented along the water, and decorated by Designs by Christine Coffey.

The tables were named after caribbean islands, and strewn with seashells, starfish, and blue aqua stones.

The reception started with the couples choreographed first dance… and the guests partied on from there.
