{ sarah + silas | married | vintage style}

sarah + silas’ were married in true vintage style.

Their 1920’s inspired even transported their guests back to another era, complete with antique autos, gangster attire and antics, and a flapper inspired wedding gown and headpiece.

This vintage 1952 Chrysler Imperial Sedan, set the stage.

A few hours earlier… The bride readied at her suite at Frenchman’s Reserve Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens.

The bouquets of cymbidium orchids were created by FlowerMart in Jupiter, FL. The invitation, was designed by the Bride herself, a pro graphics designer.

The bridesmaids got Sarah dressed with great attentiveness…

Once dressed, she stepped out onto the balcony in her couture gown designed by Francesca Pitera for Jim Hjelm

Sarah’s mom looked on at her daughter…

Then they shared a tender moment.

Even dad stopped by for a peek.

Once ready the girls headed out to the patio for some portraits.

And the adorable flower girl stole a quick kiss.

Meanwhile, over in the groom’s suite… a special gift arrived!

From his bride-to-be. With a sweet (and naughty!!!) note.

Silas’ mom helped with his boutonniere…

One last check to make sure he had the ring.

And he was off… in his cool vintage ride.

The bride was finishing up her Vouge-like fashion shoot poolside.

When her bridemaids joined her…

And they got in on the photo fun.

A sisterly hug…

A visit from the flower girl…

And they were off and running to the ceremony.

The ceremony took place in the round by the waterfalls.

White chairs were draped in grape sashes…

And cybidium orchids hung from invisible wires from the wooden trellis.

Silas and his “gangsters” were also readying for their big entrance.

Moments later it was time for the groom’s big arrival… in 1920’s style.

The bride soon followed…

And the ceremony began.

It was a joyous occasion… and loved one’s lost were there in spirit.

The happy couple exited… as Mr. & Mrs. Gold!

The bridal party followed and posed for some portraits…

Then the couple headed for the picturesque clock tower at the front of the property.

Back at the clubhouse the finishing touches were being put on the beautiful reception space, awash in a sea of purple and silver.

I just love the custom signage on the chiavari chairs. Courtesy of the talented bride.

The table tops had silver embroidered linens, and centerpieces of cymbiums hanging from willow branches.

The menu and the favor cards were also designed by Sarah. Graphic artiste extraordinaire.

After the newlywed’s first dance…

Sisters spoke…

Loved ones danced…

Fondue fountains flowed…

Cakes were cut…

Garters were removed… in style!

Objects were thrown…

And caught…

And reapplied…

Guests partied… and sang into “Spoon Mikes.”

And as the end of the party neared, the bride and groom sneaked away for some alone time, as Silas seranaded Sarah with a song of his own.

Then carried her off for a few twilight portraits.
