Julie and Jon’s destination wedding took place on a perfect summer day in June, at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach.

Their elegant invites, custom designed by artist jenny schmidt, were ivory wrapped with a monogrammed chocolate overlay.

I arrived early to meet with Julie and shoot some of her fabulous details, before Ana Maja, arrived to beautifully capture the rest of the day.

So glad I did… Check out these 2-die-4 Jimmy Choos!

These long stemmed calla lillies, created by Daniel Events, were just the right choice for her bridesmaids.

Whereas, the bride’s bouquet, also callas, were a shorter, fuller version, with decorative palm fronds.

The first two flower girls arrived early, and shared a sisterly moment.

As Team Beauti worked on the bride’s makeup and hair.

Soon Julie was buttoned into her satin Ulla-Maija gown.

As her bridemaids fussed, and fluffed her…

And in true cinderella style, finished the look off with the perfect “choo.”

Mom stopped by help her daughter with her cathedral veil, custom created by Alexandria Augustine of Bride’s Head Revisited.

This shot of the flower girl handing the bride her bouquet is my favorite of the day.

Okay… these are pretty cute too!!!

A pensive moment alone…

Then one with Dad…

Meanwhile, Jon was reflecting himself, with a great view from his balcony of the turquoise ocean.

Soon the groom and his dapper crew, headed out for some pics on the ritz’ beachfront property.

Julie and her girls followed suit.

When it was time, everyone made their way indoors for the first look.

As Julie headed to the spa pavilion for the big reveal… Jon eagerly waited.

The ultimate greeting beside the fountain.

And a romantic dip.

Soon after, the trolley arrived, to transport the bride and company to the church.

Julie was escorted by her dad, into St. Ann Catholic Church, awaiting the start of the ceremony.

The newlyweds exited to applause from their guests…

Stopped off at the offertory for a quick kiss…

Then for a bit of photo fun as Mr. + Mrs. Chappel!

Back on the trolley… the entire wedding party headed back to The Ritz, to attend their cocktail party.

The reception was coordinated by the wonderful Mandy Conner and her staff. The table arrangements, by Daniel Events, were fluted glass vases, with floating callas, topped with hydranges, calla lilies, cymbidiums, and fronds.

The happy couple entered…

They danced…

Held hands…

And took to the floor with parents…

While ballerinas twirled …

The ring bearers had their own fun…

Even Jon got in on the action…

Soon it was time for champagne and cake.

Their Five-Tier confectionary creation by the Ritz’ pastry chefs, was wrapped in gold ribbon, and rhinestones, with a perfect pop of pink, in the form of sugared roses.

After the cake was cut… the party continued into the evening.

And ended with a perfect goodnight kiss.
