Theme: “TRAVEL” Vintage Romance | Palette: Antique Pastels | Textures: Lace + Chiffon + Pearls

Lisa + Adhar’s destination wedding in Seattle overlooking Lake Washington was true romance. The bride’s look was magnificent in a rose accented couture lace gown, and her bridesmaids in blush. The pastel palette worked well with the white chiffon tented ceremony + reception, which incorporated a “vintage travel” theme. Their table no.’s were vintage postcards, their vows were written on antique maps, and the groom’s cake was a super cute suitcase replica, with chocolate plaques of all the countries they visited together.

Nicole + Zach’s destination wedding was held at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, and was the epitome of “tropical elegance.” The gorgeous couple, swapping New York pavement for white sand, walked along the beach and relaxed on hammocks. Bright yellow sunflowers added just the right touch of color to her bridesmaids’ pewter gowns. The wedding took place overlooking the ocean, as friends and family looked on. Coordinated by Anjé Soirees, the reception space, designed by Petal Productions, combined natural driftwood into the decor, with white tulips, peonies, orchids, and succulents. The room was romantically lit with a combination of votives and silver hurricane lanterns.

{ erica + michael | the omphoy | palm beach wedding photography }

Erica + Michael’s destination wedding at The Omphoy Ocean Resort, Palm Beach, was the epitome of modern elegance by the sea.

The Omphoy’s dark espresso wood is the main part of their signature decor, and is an artsy photographer’s dream for great use of natural light and contrast.

Just look at this portrait… as the sun streams in thru the crack in the shutters, illuminating the dressing bride like an angel.

Erica readied early in the day in her resort suite.

Love the shoes, by Badgly Mischka… no “change into flip-flops” for this bride… she totally went for the hot stilettos from start to finish.

Couldn’t stop taking pictures of this unique jewelry. The bracelet by Kendra Scott, and tear drop earrings from Priscilla of Boston.

Her diamond wedding band and engagement rings were simple and exquisite, from Barsky Diamonds.

Her makeup was meticulously applied by Joanne from Team Beauti.

Then on with the birdcage veil, from Brideshead’s Revisited, NYC.

Mom helped her daughter into her Grecian inspired, one shouldered gown by Jenny Packham.

Erica’s sister in-laws to be, and friends lent a hand as well.

Mom, looking more like her twin sister here, straightens her headpiece.

Then on with the earrings…

And the way cool shoes. : )

And there you have it… a perfect bride.

Everything worked together to create the perfect, sophisticated, retro image.

The bride reflected a moment… (quite literally!!)

Then put her late grandmother’s heirloom ring on her right hand, to keep her close on her special day.

Erica smiled looking out on sunny blue skies above the ocean. Despite a bit of wind, it was going to be a great day!!!

Her bouquet or gardenias, orchids and calla lilies was created by Marjorie Bennet’s MB Florals.

Dad stopped in for a quick peek, then the three posed for a family photo.

The two bro’s gave their sis a kiss for luck, in tandem.

And off the bride-to-be went.

Wooahh… it’s little windy out there!!!!

Erica channeled her inner Marilyn Monroe here, trying to keep her dress in check.

The girls joined her for a laugh and mini photo shoot.

Meanwhile, over in the groom’s suite, Michael was getting ready himself.

Mom helped her son with his boutonniere.

Then posed for a family photo.

Michael looked dapper in his John Varvato’s suit and plaid Burberry tie selection.

Joined by his two sisters, he headed down the stairs to get in position for the first look.

Is the coast clear, asked the bride… peeking thru these great rice-paper sliders outside the hotels zen themed spa.

Down the stairs and out the door she came…

as she walked along the pond for the big reveal…

A tap… a turn… a wow…

A kiss!!!

Love how the bamboo trees and couple reflect in the pond.

The couple hid away in the spa area out of sight, as guests were starting the head to their suites to get ready for the ceremony. They share a few quite moments together in the gazebo.

A quick dance lesson…

Shared their last kiss as single…

And it was time. The chandeliered ceremony site was beautifully decorated by MB florals.

The white chiavari’s and runner were a nice contrast to the dark walls.

The mantle was lined with votives, floating candle/orchid filled canisters, and high thin vases containing sprays of calla lilies.

The bride was escorted by her parents into Michael’s arms.

Their nuptials were filled with lot’s of love and lots of laughter!!!

An exchange of rings… A kiss… and

Look… Married!!!

Second kiss as husband and wife…

Then… to the beach… Oh, but wait… first you have to sign the license.

Now… the beach!

Love the parasol!

Guests braved the wind, and joined the newlyweds out on the beachfront for a GIANT group photo.

Then headed in for cocktails and dinner reception.

After the couple’s first dance…

A gourmet dinner was served, Gatsby style.

Guests partied into the night.

As the night came to an end… there was dessert…

And cake!!!

And foosball??? Score!!!

A silhouette.

A blue sky lit moment…

A dip…

A long stare into each other’s eyes…

And a cuddly goodnight kiss.

The perfect end, to a perfect night.

{ rachel + alex | ritz-carlton key biscayne | miami wedding }

Rachel and Alex’s wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne, was a stunning affair.

Earlier in the day, the bride readied in one The Ritz-Carlton’s spacious bridal suites.

Her stunning lace and silk couture gown by Lazaro, was absolutely breathtaking.

The bride’s elegant bouquet, by Always Flowers and Events was the perfect choice.

As were the oh, so hot Jimmy Choo stilettos.

Rachel’s makeup was flawlessly applied.

Before dressing in her gown, the bride requested a mini-boudior photo shoot as a surprise for her groom-to-be. Surprise, Alex!!! Here is a demure “unrevealing” outake that simply shows the romance of it all.

Mom helped her into her daughter into the fab gown from Chic Parisen, then on with her satin/rhinestone belt. Love it!!!

Mom fastened the diamond baguette bracelet.

Then on with the earrings…

And let’s not forget the shoes.

Voila! Dressed. The silk/chiffon scallops of this gown’s bottom are just to die for.

Over in the groom’s suite. Alex and his groomsmen got into their tuxedos.

Struck a pose on the balcony…

Toasted to a great day.

Then headed out to meet his bride for the reveal.

Rachel was also on her way down the sweeping staircase.

Stopping a moment to reflect..

Garnering some last minute advice from Grandma…

And a kiss from her adorable flower girl.

Her bridesmaids were awaiting her arrival in the courtyard and the “black and white” theme was complete.

Totally love these white and black poppy bridesmaids bouquets. : ) So different!

The blue sky accented Rachel’s lace edged veil, and the windy day helped make these pre-reveal images extra special.

After the first look, the bride and groom enjoyed a romantic portrait session around the property.

Later on, they met up with their giant bridal party for some photo fun.

As the little one’s looked on. Awww how cute is she in her baby pearls???

Oh, my look at those EYES!!!

Here the flower girl, shows off her Bridal Barbie.

Then the soon to be married pair…

Steal a kiss… as they all adjourn to the ketubah signing.

Here Alex veils his Bride as Dad looks on.

The ceremony site was set on the ocean lawn. Here the chuppah can be seen in the daylight.

However, the candle lit ceremony did not begin until after sunset.

Strings played as the bride was escorted down the aisle by her parents.

And gathered beneath the Chuppah for a beautiful service.

Following their nuptials, they joined guests in a lavish outdoor cocktail party beside the fountain.

Over in the ballroom, the finishing touches were being put on the amazing reception space.

The room was transformed! Black Chiavari chairs, surrounded tables of different shapes and sizes. Onyx china place settings, were accented by assorted centerpieces, as Orchid’s dripped from candelabras, and floated in vases, topped with hydrangeas.

This unique installation featured dangling orchids, and a water filled top with faux diamonds and floating candles.

The white butter creme 4 tiered creation, belted in rhinestones, with cascading sugar flowers, was created by one of florida’s best… the infamous Ana Paz.

Black and white hand calligraphed place cards, sat upon a table clothed in black and white flowers…

Above them hung a display of white rose topiary balls, and dripping candle/jewel filled blown glass spheres.

There was even a lounge area set up for those with tired-tootsies to rest later in the night.

Once the party began, the newlyweds waltzed on the magnificent white dance floor, as patterned lights danced along with them from floor to ceiling.

A wild Horah followed…

Then the Mezinkah, heralding the last daughter married.

The night was filled with toasts…

And lot’s of dancing… and singing too!

And at some point, crazy, fun “i HEART rachel + alex” glasses were worn by all.

One last dance…

The cutting of the cake…

And their fairytale night was over.

The end.

{ margaret + neal | the breakers | palm beach wedding }

Margaret + Neal’s elegant destination wedding was held at The Breakers, Palm Beach.

The stunning architecture of this historic landmark hotel made for amazing portraiture of the newlyweds.

Earlier in the day, the Bride readied in the Royal Poinciana Suite.

Her platinum + diamond jewels, all from Tiffany & Co. sparkled brightly.

The bride + her girls donned cute little rhinestone tanks, indicating their role in the day, prior to stepping into their lavender gowns.

Margaret’s beautiful bouquet was created by The Design Studio at the Breakers.

Her bridesmaids/sisters helped her into her Legends by Ramona Keveza gown.

Then on with the rhinestone belt and, oh so hot, Jimmy Choo’s…

The brides mom, who looked more like another sister, in her black couture mermaid style gown by Frascara, fluffed her daughter’s veil.

Soon dad entered, and his little girl fastened his white rose boutonniére.

Then they posed for a few quick family portraits.

Even Grandma popped by for a visit, looking adoringly at her granddaughter.

Then the bride and her sisters posed for a few last minute portraits.

Love this little shot of the flowergirl playing in the curtain sheers. : )

Meanwhile over in his parent’s suite, the Groom straightened his cuffs.

And finished dressing with help from his mom and dad.

Out on the Breakers grounds, the bride and her girls had tons of fun shooting portraits.

At the entrance, Neal and the guys, also posed for the cameras…

Then headed over to the courtyard for the first look.

The girls, did the same, as they whimsically trotted down the cobblestone walk along the beach.

Neal and his groomsmen, waited patiently for the big reveal.

Moments later, the bride-2-be emerged thru the grand french doors.

Then down the stairs…

to an ecstatic groom-2-be…

As the bridal party looked on.

Prior to the ceremony, the Ketubah was signed.

Followed by the Bedecken (the jewish tradition of veiling of the bride.)

After well wishes everyone headed out to the ceremony.

The flower girl got her basket of petals…

And the precious ring bearer gave the bride her flowers…

Then the girls compared their floral creations.

One last kiss from Mom and Dad, and the ceremony on the great lawn began.

Margaret started down the aisle solo…

As Neal looked on…

Then met her parents mid-aisle.

The rabbi’s words were heartfelt, as the couple smiled ear to ear…

their rings were exchanged.

And soon after, emerged happily, as Dr. + Mrs. Neal Kravitz.

Guests enjoyed a lavish cocktail hour overlooking the ocean.

And the newlyweds stole away for a few private moments.

In the Gold Room, Cameron and the Design Studio’s talented team, were busy transforming it into the perfect reception space.

Glass blown candles, orchids, and pastel roses set in vintage julip cups, set the scene.

The unique tree-style wedding cake, was covered in hand spun ivory sugar roses, which sat upon a matching ivory linen, with rose embroidery.

The newlyweds entered, and the festivities began, perfectly coordinated by the Breakers associate director, Kym Bychon and her fabulous five-star staff.

The First Dance…

Followed by several toasts…

Honor Dances…

A wild Horah…

A “Powerhouse” of a band…

And “girls gone GAGA…”

The Bouquet was tossed…

and Garters retrieved.

After the bride and groom’s goodnight speech…

The cake was cut.

As the evening came to a close, guests were treated to these fabulous lemon berry, vanilla, chocolate, and redvelvet custom cupcakes, by Georgetown Cupcakes, as a yummy take home favor.

And Margaret and Neal stole away…

For an end of night stroll…

Out to the Breakers magnificent fountain.

It is a breathtaking scene at night.

One last kiss, as the light danced off the water.
