{THE END OF AN ERA} Danni + Colin’s exquisite wedding, held the honor of being the very last wedding hosted by Ritz Carlton, Palm Beach, and I must say, it did the Ritz brand proud. Despite the weather, the stunning couple braved the raindrops, umbrella in hand, as we made our way beneath the ocean front cabanas.

The ceremony was breathtaking with a petal weaved aisle and one of the most beautiful chuppahs ever, designed by the talented team at Daniel Events. Post ceremony, guests enjoyed a lavish cocktail hour followed by a fabulous reception. The ballroom was decorated in rose and lavender lighting as white roses and orchids dripped from branched centerpieces, and candles and roses hung in blown glass. As the night ended, guests were treated to a box of gourmet cupcakes on their way out, in addition to a customized doggy bone shaped chocolate w. an in lieu of favors donation to Big Dog Rescue, in memory of their fur baby.

This fabulous table décor, flawlessly created by Xquisite Events, made this intimate Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach wedding, an affair to remember.

The cake was, designed by the Ritz Carlton pastry chefs, was draped with creamsicle roses.

The reception space was absolutely breathtaking.

The table, dripping with crystal candelabras, featured assortments of roses and hydrangeas.

The silver napkins, housed the custom menu, were belted in silk and rhinestones, and sat upon sculpted chargers.

The gold chiavari chairs, covered in transparent lace coverlets, matched the embroidered silver table overlay.

The ceremony took place in the courtyard overlooking the ocean.

The asile was lined with high crystal risers, featuring the same gorgeous creamsicle roses, and hydrangeas, and sheer organza drapes.

The bride’s bouquet was simply stunning!!!

I just love how the stems were wrapped in ivory ribbon, and trimmed with rhinestones.

{ julie + jon | the ritz-carlton | palm beach wedding photography }

Julie and Jon’s destination wedding took place on a perfect summer day in June, at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach.

Their elegant invites, custom designed by artist jenny schmidt, were ivory wrapped with a monogrammed chocolate overlay.

I arrived early to meet with Julie and shoot some of her fabulous details, before Ana Maja, arrived to beautifully capture the rest of the day.

So glad I did… Check out these 2-die-4 Jimmy Choos!

These long stemmed calla lillies, created by Daniel Events, were just the right choice for her bridesmaids.

Whereas, the bride’s bouquet, also callas, were a shorter, fuller version, with decorative palm fronds.

The first two flower girls arrived early, and shared a sisterly moment.

As Team Beauti worked on the bride’s makeup and hair.

Soon Julie was buttoned into her satin Ulla-Maija gown.

As her bridemaids fussed, and fluffed her…

And in true cinderella style, finished the look off with the perfect “choo.”

Mom stopped by help her daughter with her cathedral veil, custom created by Alexandria Augustine of Bride’s Head Revisited.

This shot of the flower girl handing the bride her bouquet is my favorite of the day.

Okay… these are pretty cute too!!!

A pensive moment alone…

Then one with Dad…

Meanwhile, Jon was reflecting himself, with a great view from his balcony of the turquoise ocean.

Soon the groom and his dapper crew, headed out for some pics on the ritz’ beachfront property.

Julie and her girls followed suit.

When it was time, everyone made their way indoors for the first look.

As Julie headed to the spa pavilion for the big reveal… Jon eagerly waited.

The ultimate greeting beside the fountain.

And a romantic dip.

Soon after, the trolley arrived, to transport the bride and company to the church.

Julie was escorted by her dad, into St. Ann Catholic Church, awaiting the start of the ceremony.

The newlyweds exited to applause from their guests…

Stopped off at the offertory for a quick kiss…

Then for a bit of photo fun as Mr. + Mrs. Chappel!

Back on the trolley… the entire wedding party headed back to The Ritz, to attend their cocktail party.

The reception was coordinated by the wonderful Mandy Conner and her staff. The table arrangements, by Daniel Events, were fluted glass vases, with floating callas, topped with hydranges, calla lilies, cymbidiums, and fronds.

The happy couple entered…

They danced…

Held hands…

And took to the floor with parents…

While ballerinas twirled …

The ring bearers had their own fun…

Even Jon got in on the action…

Soon it was time for champagne and cake.

Their Five-Tier confectionary creation by the Ritz’ pastry chefs, was wrapped in gold ribbon, and rhinestones, with a perfect pop of pink, in the form of sugared roses.

After the cake was cut… the party continued into the evening.

And ended with a perfect goodnight kiss.

Jill & Sean’s had the most beautiful, intimate, seaside wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach in Manalapan.

The couple traveled from Kentucky, and planned the perfect destination event, with their immediate family and closest friends in attendance.

The stunning wedding table, created by Xquisite Events, was tented in chiffon, overlooking the ocean.

The bride and groom’s chairs were ruched to the ground in white fabric an belted with rhinestone buckled sashes…

Multi leveled jewel encrusted candle holders, combined with white roses and silver candelabras, completed the romance. Guest chairs were gold chiavari, with silk organza and pearl covers.

Below the hanging crystal chandeliers, was a sheer table overlay, hand embroidered with metalic silk beadwork.

Custom menu placecards, were wrapped in rhinestone belts, and sat upon on a jeweled charger.

The bride and groom, photographed at the Ritz’ “EAU SPA” courtyard were just as stylish as their breathtaking setting.

The bouquet of white orchids, had rhinestone centers, and wrappings.

Jill’s sophisticated couture gown was designed by Jenny Yoo.

Her pearled bowed sandals, by Kate Spade, were just the right touch for a beach wedding.

The bride’s cushion cut engagement ring is simply to die for.

While I captured her details, my associate photographer Maja met the bride to be at Eau Spa for her hair and makeup.

Once back at the suite, Jill reflected a moment beside her luxurious roman tub.

In a nearby bungalow, the Groom got ready with his best man.

Then posed for a quick portrait.

Back at the bridal suite, Jill readied with the help of her bridesmaids…

And her super stylish, stunning mom.

Once dressed and veiled she was a vision.

Oh, and isn’t that a great pearl and diamond bracelet? Love it!

Mom looked on as her daughter took one last look in the private cabana’s mirror.

Her bridesmaids wore cocktail length dresses, in a fabulous eggplant color.

The super cute flowergirl, donned a garland of purple orchids in her hair.

She even showed the bride how to twirl like a ballerina.

The girls all waited in the Eau Spa gardens for the reveal.

As Jill took a quick Vouge worthy portrait.

Over by the oceanside cabanas, the groom, posed like he belonged on the cover or GQ.

The guys got in on the act, as did the adorable ring bearer, mirroring the groom to be.

Mom stopped by for a hug and a kiss.

So did his precious little blue-eyed boy, just waking up from his nap.

Back at the spa, the girls headed to the round domed foyer for the first look.

Here comes the bride…

Jill was mesmerizing. Sean couldn’t couldn’t take his eyes off of her.

Off to the courtyard for some portraits…

A quick game of garden chess.

A veiled kiss…

A hug…

and a heartfelt laugh.

Then off to the beach for a cozy oceanfront ceremony. The trio played.

The groom and officiant waited.

The flower girl petaled her way down the stairs.

The bride and her dad soon followed.

They exchanged vows…

and filled the crystal heart with colored sands.

Guests captured mementos…

As the couple exchanged rings…

Permission to kiss the bride followed…

Then a moment of sheer delight!

A group toast, led by the littlest party goer.

Then a joyful, “1-2-3 Whee!”…

And as the sun set, the couple was off to join their guests for cocktails.

The Ritz-Carlton’s, wonderful staff, headed by catering director Mandy Conner, readied
the intimate candlelit dinner.

The cake was put in place, and the guests arrived.

Each menu was customized with the guest’s names, as they took their seats.

The couple’s first dance was magical.

They Toasted…

Danced…

& Indulged in a yummy color-coordinated candybar.

The night ended with the cutting of the cake.

And a candlelit kiss.

Then off went the bride and groom in a classic orange BMW convertibe…
